Hello, After much delay (from 12/2) it dawned on me why I wasn’t able to mark off videos as complete. I’m marking this up to a senior moment of an epic time span. I was trying to check off the circle next to the video title. I wasn’t clicking the “mark complete” box below the video. I didn’t scroll down enough to see it. Oh well! I want to say I have really enjoyed this Core Course which I have completed
hello, I am not able to check off completion of videos beyond the first couple in the Shoulder sequence. I’m not sure why that is. I click the button, but it doesn’t fill the button. It just turns on the video again, Are others having the same difficulty? Ken
Hi, Correct. When I click the button after the second button in the Shoulder series nothing happens. I just noticed the Forum about technical problems so I’m guessing I should bring this issue up there which I will do. Thanks, Ken
Hello, I hope you all had a Wonderful Thanksgiving and can now settle into a peaceful Holiday Season. I am working my way through the Core Content although I feel a bit of myself in the first 5 stages along the Path probably because I have been practicing ATMs for over a year now. I found the “Pink Panther” video quite creative and funny. I chuckled throughout. The See Saw Breathing video and the Side Lying Circles very helpful. Having joined this YLB experience has strengthened my Thankfulness for having decided on a Feldenkrais path to solve my hip/glute problems.
I do have a question, but not sure which Forum to place it. I am not able to check off completion of videos beyond the first couple in the Shoulder sequence. I’m not sure why that is. Are others having the same difficulty? Ken
Hello All, I’ve been struggling to get my photo downloaded so hopefully it will appear with this post. I am new to YLB, but not new to Feldenkrais. I have spend the last year and a half doing FIs and ATMs. I am happy to report I am pain free for the most part with some discomfort at times. This is after over a year in 24/7 pain with hip/butt issues and with recommendations from MD’s to get my hip replaced. I chose the Feldenkrais path instead and glad for it. I’m hoping to return to a more active life of golf and tennis, but even if not, I have improved the quality of my life. So I believe in Larry’s phrase of “keep moving forward”.
What keeps me motivated is learning. I have spent my professional life as a psychologist and psychoanalyst always studying the mind. Now I’m learning about my body and it’s connection to my psyche. It is exciting for me. I’m now retired, but still growing and learning. I know this is called “Your Learning Body”, but I also think of my body as my Teaching body as my body teaches my nervous system how to function in a pain free way.
I look forward to this continued learning. Ken
